By allowing the activation of one more cell phone plan by operators that offer the possibility of this service, this makes it possible to use two different WhatsApp accounts at the same time on your device. It is important to mention, however, that only models from the iPhone XR and XS generation onwards support the eSIM digital chip format.

Set up the new number on your iPhone

At the end of the configuration, your device will have two cellular plans working simultaneously. At the top left of the screen, you will be able to see the two signal bars referring to them, the first being for the physical chip and the second for the eSIM digital chip.

Activate your second WhatsApp account

Having taken the necessary precautions, if your second WhatsApp account number is a business contact regarding a business, search for and download the WhatsApp Business app from the App Store on your iPhone. After downloading it, proceed by adding the second number on the initial setup screen.

However, if it is for personal use, download the Parallel Space for WhatsApp WA app from the iOS App Store. When you open it, sign in with your new account, adding your second number and then proceeding through the additional registration information for the new account.

And remember that dual WhatsApp on your iPhone will work with the main account being opened by WhatsApp, while the second one will work by the Parallel Space for WhatsApp app.
